These Terms of Service govern your use of Cosmic Memory. By using the game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Cosmic Memory is an evolving browser-based memory game with solo, local multiplayer, online multiplayer, AI-assisted game modes, rewards, and experimental features. The available features may change as the game develops.
Accounts and Google sign-in
Google is currently the only supported authentication method. You are responsible for maintaining control of your Google account and for activity performed through your Cosmic Memory player profile. You may also play supported guest experiences without signing in, but cloud persistence and account-based features may be limited.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with other players, attempt to bypass access controls, automate abusive traffic, exploit bugs for unfair advantage, or submit unlawful, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, harassing, deceptive, or spam content. Multiplayer chat includes report and block controls. AI replies can also be reported from inside the game.
Gameplay, progress, and rewards
Game progress, rankings, scores, virtual items, boosts, card backs, and rewards are part of the gameplay experience. Unless we explicitly state otherwise for a specific promotion, virtual rewards have no cash value, are not transferable, and do not represent a financial account or guaranteed real-world benefit.
Experimental and premium features
Cosmic Memory is under active development. Features labeled premium, experimental, beta, AI, reward, sponsor, or similar may change, be removed, or be replaced. A UI prototype does not create a promise that a paid product, prize, or commercial offer is available unless the service clearly presents a completed transaction or official promotion.
AI-generated behavior
AI opponents and chat may produce incorrect, unexpected, or inconsistent output. Their responses are part of the game experience and should not be relied on as professional, medical, financial, legal, or other expert advice.
Third-party services
Cosmic Memory may rely on services such as Google, Supabase, hosting providers, advertising providers, and AI providers. Their own terms and privacy practices may also apply when you use features powered by them.
Availability
We aim to keep Cosmic Memory available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent availability of any feature, or preservation of every item of game data in all circumstances.
Intellectual property
Cosmic Memory, its original software, visual design, branding, and game content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, logos, and content remain the property of their respective owners.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the game, other players, our infrastructure, or applicable legal obligations, including in response to abuse or attempts to compromise the service.
Disclaimer and limitation
Cosmic Memory is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will always be error-free or meet every individual expectation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising solely from use or inability to use the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the game develops. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
